Our Story

In the summer of 1933, a group of people began meeting for worship services in a tent in northwest Loudoun County and organized as a brand new church in August of that year.

The church experienced several ups and downs throughout the years and by January 1989 the church averaged about 8 people each Sunday. The church was about to close when a new pastor accepted an invitation to become its pastor, and the church began to experience new life and growth.

In 1993, the local fire and rescue company added a community hall to its facility. Loudoun Valley Church of the Nazarene (LVCN) moved into this facility for the next 4 and 1/2 years.

In 1995, LVCN purchased the six and a half acres and parsonage on Charles Town Pike and moved into the current facility in July of 1997.

Placing extreme value on building community and fellowship through ministries to children, teens, and adults in various stages of life, Loudoun Valley Church of the Nazarene is a church dedicated to fostering relationships with God and understanding God's word.
