Closings and Cancellations

LVCA will be closed on the following holidays:

In the event that one of these holidays falls on a weekend, we will observe them either the Friday before or Monday after. In this case, a sign will be posted two weeks prior to our closing.

In the event of inclement weather a message will be placed on the LVCA voice mail by 5:30 AM as to our hours of operation for the day. To access the voice mail, call us at (540) 668-6357 and select #2. If inclement weather should arise once our day has begun parents will be notified at least two hours prior to closing. Please note that when LVCA must open 2 or more hours late due to inclement weather, there will be NO Preschool.

In the event that we experience a power outage prior to opening we cannot open the facility until power is restored. If the power should go off throughout the day we will determine closing based on the estimated time of repair by the power company. Parents will be notified to pick up their children as soon as possible.
