Facilities

Our facility is approved to hold a maximum of 130 children with a combination of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and after school age children. The facility meets all state health and fire safety requirements for facilities of young children. A completely fenced, outdoor play area is located behind the building. We have a refrigerator and microwave available for food storage and preparation. Children are divided into rooms containing peers of their age and ability.

Licensing and Liability Insurance

In compliance with the Code of Virginia, Section 63.2-1716, this center is religiously exempt from licensure and is classified as a "religiously exempt child day center." A copy of our license is available for viewing in the center at all times. LVCA is covered by public liability insurance in compliance with state guidelines.

Class Ratios according to Virginia State Licensing

Infant-Age 2: 1 teacher per every 4 children
Age 2-5: 1 teacher per every 10 children
Age 6-12: 1 teacher per every 25 children
